At Wilderness, we are determined to have the greatest impact possible on the world’s wildlife, wilderness and local communities. Our mission is to double the amount of land we help conserve in the next decade. It’s a vision we’ll never stop striving to achieve.

We have always existed to protect, explore and expand the world’s wilderness. But how do we achieve a positive impact? Join us as we unpack the ways in which our impact strategy works and how we’re making a positive difference to people, wildlife and the environments in which we operate.
Pioneers of purpose
To achieve lasting, positive impact, we focus our conservation and community empowerment programmes under three key impact pillars: Educate, Empower and Protect. How do we work towards decreasing habitat conversion and human-wildlife conflict, as well as empowering the people living adjacent to wildlife areas? We use our Theory of Change model, and work alongside our partners for change – staff, guests, local communities, government, businesses and conservation partners are all part of this journey.
